Ryan Wight-

I’m drawn to the environmental materials that shape shared spaces—what we walk past, what holds us up, what wears things down. The work begins in search, feeling for connections that shift when torn from their everyday seams.

Where things meet oddly, new openings appear. The overlooked, the undervalued, the uneasy beauty of what doesn’t quite fit—these are the spaces that ask for attention.

The world moves too fast and too slow, both at once. Maybe seeing it is enough to shake the certainty that we ever had it right.
